About Daniella

Daniella Villarroel founded (ARCA) Amazon Rescue and Conservation Alliance 501(c)(3) in Iquitos, Peru, rescuing wildlife from the illegal trade and rehabilitating what can be returned to the forest. Her days run from hand-rearing rejected infants to field expeditions monitoring species across the Amazon basin. She's spent years documenting that work publicly — not for the animals that go viral, but for the ones that don't.
